Let me preface this by saying I do have too much time on my hands ;)
Still, noticed that as Leolist increases in popularity, the scammers/spammers/bait and switch ads are increasing in number quite a bit.
As a paying advertiser, I have not seen too noticeable a change in response rate, but it is annoying to bump my ad, just to check it 10 min later and see its fallen 20+ places, and that half the ads pushing it down are fake.
So hoping this catches fellow SPs, or some gentlemens' attention. If people could please kindly take a second and report the clearly fake/fraudulent/stolen pic ads etc, this would be a better place people to meet. I flag false ads, but unless they receive more reports nothing happens.
To be clear, only trying to encourage people to flag the scammer ads so that it is less overrun with spam for the legitimate posters. The less spam, the better for both posters and potential clients.
Included examples of the scammy/bs listings, not that they are hard to spot, but if people would start taking a second to flag, hopefully they would become less prevalent. (if it weren't working AT ALL, there wouldnt be such posts so sadly someone must be falling for it :( )
Hopefully I have persuaded you, thanks for reading and have a wonderful day :)
